150 slots, zero tables
Shorelines Slots at Kawartha Downs has 150 slots. The floor carries neither live nor electronic table games. The floor is slots only. Great Canadian's live table listing covers its casinos in Belleville, Peterborough and Thousand Islands. Kawartha Downs is not on it.
Live tables in that listing sit at Shorelines Casino Peterborough, 3800 Fisher Drive. In a straight line, it is 7.7 km from the racetrack slots. That casino has 12 live table games. Slots and electronic table games there number over 500, and the floor adds high-limit slots and a sports betting kiosk.

Who runs what
Great Canadian Entertainment runs the slots under its Shorelines Casinos name. The racetrack, the Player's Lounge and the property belong to Kawartha Downs, a separate owner. The gaming site there first opened in November 1999.
All casino gaming in Ontario is conducted and managed by OLG. Day-to-day operation falls to private service providers, which the AGCO regulates. The slots at Kawartha Downs run under OLG's Optional Slots at Racetracks Program, launched in 2019.

Rules at the door
- This slot floor falls under the same Ontario law: a person under 19 may not enter a casino or remain in one.
- Great Canadian asks anyone who appears under 30 for original, physical government-issued photo ID, and may request a second piece.
- The code of conduct bans cannabis anywhere on the property and limits smoking or vaping to designated areas.
- Under OLG's My PlayBreak, a casino break blocks entry to every Ontario casino, and it cannot be ended before its term is over.
The rewards card
The loyalty card Great Canadian Rewards belongs to Great Canadian, the slots operator, and not to the racetrack. Great Canadian Rewards Comp Dollars can be used at the slots at Kawartha Downs. Members must be 19 or older. The Field Readings desk lists only where the card applies; earning rates are not part of this reading.
