Lounge hours on the floor
The Player's Lounge and Café sits on the slots floor and keeps shorter hours than the slots. Every day, the doors open at 10 a.m. Closing is Monday to Thursday at 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m., and Sunday at 9 p.m. The menu covers light refreshments, a la carte modern casual food and a fully licensed bar.
Read against the slot schedule, the last hours of each night on the floor have no kitchen. Admission is limited to those aged 19 plus who carry ID, and Great Canadian requests that ID whenever a guest seems under 30. The lounge phone is 705-940-0237.
The Peterborough tables, a third line
Kawartha Downs has no live or electronic table games. The operator's live table listing does not include it. Live tables run at Shorelines Casino Peterborough on Fisher Drive, a separate venue 7.7 km away in a straight line. Their hours: Monday to Thursday 4 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday noon to 2 a.m., Sunday noon to midnight.
On the chart, any hour past midnight is counted with the previous night. Between midnight and 2 a.m. on a Sunday morning, the tables are still on Saturday's session. Regular floor hours for the Peterborough slots are not published, so the chart does not draw that line.
